Idea for a Deployed Unit Family Homepage

An idea was brought forward to have a web-based Deployed Unit Family Homepage, that would feature details about the Unit's activities and accomplishments, as well as a possible "blog page" or "video message" page for CF members to leave for their families to view at home. What is the interest in this type of site and how could it be modified to best meet the need of CF members and their families?
